Seated Woman on Box
This work reflects a further shift in direction. Whilst The Centaur is no where to be seen in this sculpture, this work represents a significant step forward.
Essentially, this sculpture is a cubic painted with the image of Picasso’s "Seated Woman with a Hat". It was created as a prototype for a table and has provided some valuable clues as to how to ‘wrap’ a two-dimensional image around a 3D form.
