Centaur with Shoe
This collage carries forth the exploration of the previous one with the eye from newspaper images used to create a gestalt effect between the surface image (the eye) and the 3D Centaur form.
In this case, the eyes are complemented by a set of lips. A nose in a slightly different position is also visible.
Less obvious is the use of a ‘house’ in the section that bridges the front and rear ‘legs’ of The Centaur as well as a shoe in the upper ‘torso’.
