manmade, manufactured

Anything that is not natural and is ‘man-made’ or ‘man-ufactured’ gives us a clue that it is a new version of something else. For instance, ‘manmade’ and ‘manufactured’ are often used to describe new materials. For example, zircons are manmade or artificial diamonds. At the supermarket you can buy ‘manufactured meat’ which is made up of meat products but is not meat in its natural form.
