Perhaps the most common use of the term ‘interactive’ revolves around computers and ‘interactive multimedia’. Today, the ‘interactive’ label is often dropped as it is now well know that ‘multimedia’ is not a one-way medium, but is designed for the user to ‘drive’ the process and tell the computer what it wants to see and do. The internet is also based upon this thinking.
