The Idea Program

Suburban Revolutionaries

The NINE principles of the Home-Office Paradigm

Previous (Part 4)

Conclusion: The Home-Office Advantage

The motivation for distingushing a paradigm is to provide access to something that was not previously available.

In distinguishing that the ‘Home-Office’ is not a mere continuation of the social structure of ‘home and work’ as separate entities, we can now declare that the ‘old rules’ of this paradigm no longer apply.

Likewise, every paradigm promotes a set of advantages consistent with that paradigm.

My suggestion to anyone establishing a home-based business is to seek out and exploit the advantages of your home-office.

In my book, “A Home-Office You Love” this is summarized as: “A Home-Office has all the comforts of home, at work.”

The question to ask yourself is: “What aspects of my home lifestyle would make a significant difference if added to my business?” and vice versa, “What aspects of my business lifestyle would make a significant difference if added to my home?”
